При использовании ключа --querybynumber rpm попадает в бесконечный цыкл.

$ rpmquery --qf='%{NAME}-%{VERSION}-%{RELEASE}\n' --querybynumber 10 |head -5
libxkbfile-1.0.3-alt1
libxkbfile-1.0.3-alt1
libxkbfile-1.0.3-alt1
libxkbfile-1.0.3-alt1
libxkbfile-1.0.3-alt1

$ rpmquery -a |wc -l
952
$ rpmquery --qf='%{NAME}-%{VERSION}-%{RELEASE}\n' --querybynumber 10 |head -960
|wc -l
960
