в smb.conf в ком. к name resolve order говорится, что
the default order is "host lmhosts wins bcast"

в man smb.conf несколько иначе
Default: name resolve order = lmhosts host wins bcast

думается что в man-е информация вернее

отчего-то это висит на nobody, я так понимаю это к ab@ ?

Если висит на nobody@, значит, никто не занимается.  Вот почему там сразу оказалось -- из https://bugzilla.altlinux.org/show_activity.cgi?id=9828 не пойму.

не смог в современном smb.conf отыскать останки этой баги.
