(lynx-2.8.6-alt2.rel.2.1 also had a similar problem)

how to reproduce:

start lynx, press "Q"

result: 

the terminal is spoilt (no echoing of what I type anymore, pressing Enter doesn't create a new line: a new prompt appears on the same line)

[ivan@dell ~]$ lynx
[ivan@dell ~]$ [ivan@dell ~]$ [ivan@dell ~]$ [ivan@dell ~]$ [ivan@dell ~]$ [ivan@dell ~]$ 


workaround: blindly type "reset" Enter

It happens with bash-3.2.39-alt1, aterm-1.0.1-alt2,

Рискну предположить, что всё это происходит в aterm?  Если да, то это его (aterm'а) неадекватная реакция на попытку использования мыши (mousemask() из libncurses).

Перевесить на aterm, видимо -- у меня тоже подобное в нём и вылазит порой.

Предлагаю сменить терминал или прислать патч.
