Сейчас у firefox-esr в зависимостях пакет gst-plugins-ugly от GStreamer 0.10, но Firefox может работать и с новым GSTreamer 1.0. Для этого в зависимостях поменять gst-plugins-ugly на gst-plugins-ugly1.0

Похоже, баг #31222 относится к Firefox ESR, но по ошибке был повешен на обычный Firefox.
