После точечного обновления glibc программы перестают работать со старым 
libstdc++: 
# apt-get install lala 
apt-get: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot handle  
TLS data

Не надо было делать перед этим точечное обновление libstdc++4.1 до версии <
4.1.1-alt4
